I want to change the LED lights in my wired Xbox control to blue to match my pc,keyboard, mouse as I use it for gaming. I've read countless pages from google with most of them asking you to buy from them. All I need is the actual small LED's themselves but I dont know what they are called (the sites I went on seem to give them some code name lol) and where to buy them?

Has anyone done this before?

They're 0603 LEDs. Should cost 5-10p each if you're buying in low (<10) quantities. I usually buy SMT LEDs from RS or Phenoptix.

lol what a find. I got quoted on a modding website £90 for a wired control with blue lights.

Is fitting easy?
£90?!
Desolder the old LEDs (flow on a new bit of new solder first to make it easier) and solder the new ones on. If you're good with an iron you'll have all 4 replaced in a few minutes :)
