Moddiy Custom Cable Issue

So I recently received two custom made PCIe cables from Moddiy and both connectors look very weird to me (and obviously wont fit the PCIe socket nor PSU). Has anyone seen this before? Any advice?

Edit: These were custom ordered cables for Corsair HX1500i (and the cable doesn't fit on the PSU either)

What GPU have you got?

Not used 8 pin in ages but have seen connectors like that before.
