Moddiy Custom Cable Issue

So I recently received two custom made PCIe cables from Moddiy and both connectors look very weird to me (and obviously wont fit the PCIe socket nor PSU). Has anyone seen this before? Any advice?

Edit: These were custom ordered cables for Corsair HX1500i (and the cable doesn't fit on the PSU either)

What GPU have you got?

Not used 8 pin in ages but have seen connectors like that before.

What are the original cables like?

If you think it is wrong and does not fit your components, RMA it.

Probably used the wrong connectors, I'd just let them know and they should rectify it. Never had an issue using custom cables for them myself though.

That looks perfectly normal to me. Are you sure it won't fit your card?

The bridged part is where the extra 2 pins fit if you have a 6+2 plug.

Go ahead and check the ends with your cables that came with the PSU to confirm first though.
