hey guys i just got a e-flite blade mcpx as my main xmas pressie, first collective pitch chopper, yes im bad used it a bit :)

just wondering how some off you guys progressed with flying choppers, eg getting new choppers for the learning curve, and any experience or advice you guys can offer :)

so far i have went from a blade mcx to a blade msr then a blade 120sr and now the mcpx, also got a hopped up blade cx second hand that i fly some times :)

soon got bored of the mcx and took a while to master the msr then when i got the 120sr i could fly it in small spaces and now i can barely hover the new mcpx in my kitchen, im really struggling with it but i like the challenge so no inverted flying yet lol

dads got a blade 400 inside a nice airwolf shell with retractable wheels but he wont fly it he is working up to it, with his smaller helis and then the genius century uk 450 chopper, he wasnt happy with the 450 air wolf shell so now thats gonna be a practice one :)

I bought myself a Walkera V200D01 a few weeks ago just waiting for new rotor , main gear , tail boom, tail rotor , tail gears , main shaft and a new canopy and a new ornament for the missus

Well i've got a twister cp v2 which is used in sports hall at work, and have a hirobo sceadu evo 50 for outside fun. Best thing I bought was a simulator as you can get a lot more time in on it in bad weather.

I've been toying with a blade msr, but everytime I go to buy one I decide agaisnt it. I've had numerous nitro helis, raptor 30 x3, raptor 50 v2 and a raptor 60 but sold them years ago, and decided to give it up, but ended up buying the shuttle when it was cheap!!

I had a blade 400 - word of advice its bloody insane trying to fly it. Im pretty good with the lesser copters but yeh the blade is a beast. Sold it in the end as just couldnt get on with it.
I had so many crashes in that thing, half of them bc i used to turn the 3d flight on by accident mid flight .... doh.

I bought myself a Walkera 4G6S for last xmas. Its a micro CP but I dare say a bit more fragile than your eflite. Over the last year I have tried to fly it every day I can but if its windy its a no go. If the weathers fine I can put 8 batteries through it in one day or weekends etc. So far I can now fly it round my garden ok, can fly nose in and cut a pretty good figure of 8. Im quite confident throwing it round but im miles away from being able to fly upsidown. I dont crash much now, but in the early days I did and I have spent about £200 in parts, at least, ive got through more blades than I can remember, maybe 40 pairs.

I've got a blade msr, dx6i and phoenix sim.
Tbh I wish I'd bought a 120 sr instead of the msr as in the house it feels too contained and yet outside the msr gets blown at the slightest breath of wind.
Love the phoenix simulator in fact I tend to go on that more now and fly planes.

I'm in the process of building one of these suckers although with an impending move to Australia I'm thinking I won't finish it before mid to late March.
