A car manufacturer has designed a brand new model, & lucky you, has been given the honour of naming it.

Naming a car can’t be that difficult...a lot of them seem to be made up or taken from some obscure language anyway.

1) Manufacturer ( Real or Fantasy)
2) Model Name
3) Optional: Model spec designations.

Don't know about manufacturer name.

But I wish models were named what they are, e.g. "hatchback" instead of "golf".

And I wish specs were just a few standard predefined specs, like "budget spec", "popular spec", "top spec".

VW Hatchback Top Spec.

simples.

Nice idea but marketing would hate you. Nobody would buy a Ford Focus Budget if it was called budget spec.

But I do hate the current system. All those numbers and stuff. Like Audi changing to numbers based on performance. No idea what engine is in things anymore. Two different cars an both be 55s and have three different engines in them . Life was so much easier when it was 1.6 L, LS or GLS.

Ahhh... the old “Repmobile’ class wars...think it was called incentives.
( Actually... that would make a good model name)

Ford Focus Incentive...
