Model O with new cable?

Hi,

Anyone know when stock of the new version of the Glorious Model O with the new-style cable is going to be in stock at OCUK?

I want one but I'd rather have the newer cable as it looks a lot better.

What's the new cable offer? Not had any issues with mine from OCUK bought a few weeks ago.

As far as I know it's a tighter braid and is far more like a paracord:

The older one was more like a shoelace.

Yeah new stock will have the standard black and hopefully all the colours will be for sale with OCUK as well.

I emailed a few days ago and they've still got the older stock so hopefully the new version will be in soon. If anyone knows when it'll be, I'd love to know.

Damn, I didn't even know they did this. Mine is fine but after hearing all the people with issues I bought a paracable elsewhere as a backup for the minus.

If your model o does start disconnecting you can get the new cable for free

Yeah, cheers. I only ordered one so I have a backup I can fit without having to wait a few days for a replacement.

Just got a new model O from OCUK with the old cable still. Got a o- with the new cable from them and presumed they'd have new cable stock as well of the O. "O" well.

It basically like exactly like the stock photos on ocuk for the mouse. Like a normal tight braided cable look unlike the flappy shoe lace look of the original
