I've asked Dell and had a Google but neither were forthcoming with an answer:
Which models of SSD do Dell use for their SLC value and SLC SSDs in the 12th Gen servers (R620 / R720 specifically)?
The main reason I'm asking if because I'm wondering if it's worth the extra spend over getting eMLC SSDs. The endurance isn't an issue but speeds on the eMLC drives are only around 200 - 250MB/s Read/Write on SAS.
I don't see how it's possible to put together a specification without knowing what the drives will do.
