modem probem pls help.

Hi,
I bought a Netgear ADSL2 modem router. I unplugged all the cables from my old netgear router and then plugged the cables into my new router. All the lights came on expect the internet light.

Any suggestion?

I've have tried several time to put in admin and password at http://192.168.0.1 and it won't take either.
