We are looking for a fibre modem, router and wifi access points for our medium sized business. Approx 50 users covering around 10000 sq ft.

Is Draytek kit a robust choice? Need easy configuration, good access control. Prefer iphone app to configure or trouble shoot, but not essential.

Assuming you mean "fibe" as in VDSL then a Cisco 887va will fit the bill for the modem/router, it has built in vdsl modem and is obviously a good spec router as well. Can do vlans etc and has 4 FastEthernet ports in it. If you mean a leased line fibre then something like a Cisco 1921/1941 would be fine, probably need a few switches and possibly fibre uplinks for an area the size you have mentioned to link the APs. Use POE switch or injectors to power the APs.

In terms of the AP's, I use Ruckus everyday at work (in many high st stores and hotels) and highly recommend their kit. The other alternatives are Ubiquiti, Meraki and Mikrotik.

The Drayteks are solid business grade routers with excellent support.

The Draytek 2860n works well connected to Openreach (be it Zen, Plusnet, BT etc) so you don't need the Openreach box. The advantage of not using the Openreach box is the router knows the exact connection speed and QOS will work more efficiency.

You can create sub lans and guest accounts to hide various business networks. The 2860n can handle 50,000 separate NAT sessions and is designed to cope under load. It can also support up to 32 concurrent VPN tunnels so is perfect for remote users.

The above Draytek can also support multiple internet connections, these can be used concurrently in load balanced more, or set so additional connections are backup only.

Interface on Draytek's is functional and no frills, it's straightforward once your past the basics of how everything works however.
