Ok I have Virgin Broadband and have my original Blueyonder Motorola surfboard Modem, I currently have my modem going into my onboard network adapter of my PC then a second network card linking my PC to my X360. Last night i did all my Wii updates at my mate’s house as he has wireless and needed to get free stuff before July then you have to pay. So it got me thinking the Wii LAN adapter is £17 and a wired router is £20+ but my Wii already has wireless built in and a wireless router is £25-£30. So can I connect my modem to a wireless router then from the router to my PC and X360 and connect my Wii using wireless? This will also mean I don’t need my PC on to use X360? Will this work and will it need any configuration?

Should work fine, only configuration it will need is opening up NAT ports on the router for XBOX live so that the XBOX can actually play online.

Coolio so i just log into the router and open a NAT port for the 360. Is this an easy tick this box kind of thing or a little harder or does it depend on make and model of wireless router?
