Hi
I am attempting a moderate 4.3 / 4.4 overclock on my 4670k.
I am running the following kit.
MSI GD65 Motherboard
8GB 2x4 Team Xtreem 2400 RAM XMP Enabled
Be Quiet! Shadow Rock 2 Cooler
I have it running at 4.3 using 43 multi and also 43 on the uncore.
vcore voltage 1.2 and uncore voltage 1.9, vccin at 1.8 with xmp enabled on the RAM.
Are the above settings good and are there any recommendations for reducing the vcore voltage as 1.2 seems high for 4.3 and 4.4 seems to require a significant pump in terms of cpu voltage (1.26)
Also, when I run just a CPU stress test in AIDA64 I get the correct 1.2v reading, however when I run CPU,FPU,Cache it requires 1.28v, I understand this is to do with the AVX instruction set, is this normal and should I factor this in when overclocking, just concerned that I may need in excess of 1.3v in anything that uses the AVX instruction set if I do push for 4.4, and 1.28 seems very high for 4.3.
Thanks
