I have recently bought myself a 1080TI, and obviously, want to upgrade to a 4K monitor.
I had planned to buy one at the same time but couldn't decide what to go for.

My Budget: I do not have a budget. It needs to be moderately priced. Nothing that will leave a large dent in my bank.

Just be wary that 4K 60Hz might not translate into best gaming experience (unless you priority is to watch 4K contents)...you could actually have look at good 2560x1440 monitor with 120/144Hz refresh rate (with Freesync/Gsync etc), which will make a world of difference comparing to the minor difference between 2.5K and 4K on a screen size of 27" of there about.

I'm not saying you "shouldn't" go for 4K, but you should also look at the other options (depending your actual usage) as well instead going going straight for 4K just because it is "the thing" right now.

I'd second opinion of Marine RX179. I'm in the same situation, ATI 480 and 3440x1440 is too big a jump for this card, and perhaps even 2560x1440 is as well.

So if you're a gaming and want decent framerate and fps, then settle for lower resolution monitors rather than 4K. Also even if you have a rig capable of 100+fps at 4K, 4K monitors do not have facility to run at that refresh, so again if you're a gamer you want way want a 1440p & 144hz panel instead.

I'd only consider 4K if you're using it for movies (4K) have a huge screen like 34"+ because a tiny screen in 4K would be horrid to use, unless you have eagle eye vision
