Modern TN monitors?

How good are modern TN monitors?

For the past few years I've been using a VA panel, but with my next build I'm going multimonitor.

I have an older Viewsonic monitor with a TN panel, but it's from ~2003, it doesn't seem too far removed from a GameGear in terms of viewing angle!

certainly better than very old TN Film panels. You could probably go into any high street store to see a modern TN Film screen in action for yourself to check if you find it ok
