Modern Warfare 2 PS3 MP Arranging Thread !

Yep its broken at the moe on mp - anyone fancy spec-ops message me on psn = drmushroom

Am thinking about trying this with a mate later on. Are there any 'tricks' to getting this to work online as there is with normal multiplayer?

Just logged in to play online and i seem to be stuck on

"Fetching Playlists
Updating Rank and Unlocks"

Anyone else had this problem?

i get this, hope they fix it soon

theres a new patch out. Downloads when you start the game up
Dont know what it does yet though as Multi is still down

Better sort it out, I cant join any of my friends parties and vice versa

I believe this patch sorts out trophies not working.

Just installed patch 1.02 (15MB)

I am on the level with Favelas. Should I have got trophies up until now? Dunno if I just didn't get any or whether it was broken?

Edit: locked my PS3 as soon as I pressed online after installing the patch.
Edit: Tried again, same thing.
Edit: no longer locks my PS3 and I can get into SP, Spec Ops and Online menus. Still stuck on connecting to matchmaking servers on Online, though.

Online i was lvl 29.. dunno about now as the servers are messed up

PS3 online broken for me to.

Downloaded the new 1.02 15Mb patch when i booted it up, online not worked since

Does it just affect PS3 or is it 360 aswell ???

Any ETA on a fix ??

Online still not working and trophies for SP are borked after I played an earlie4 chapter again as it forces you to save when you quit, resulting in the resume option placing me on the incorrect mission.

So by choosing the correct mission and playing, its not tracking my progress.

This game reels of being rushed to meet deadline.

@Kaboutertje MP doesn't require a patch. It's a server overload not a bug in the code. They're working to have servers back up ASAP

@scoobyjim Xbox Live servers are maintained and ran by Microsoft. PSN servers are ran and maintained by 3rd party companies hired to do so.

@sean_armstrong It's related to the servers being down at the moment during an upgrade. It'll be fixed when the servers come back up.

@T_Rux That's unrelated to the patch. They are adding more bandwidth servers to meet MP demand. The Patch was for SP only.

@OPM_UK The amount of players on #MW2 PSN overwhelmed the PSN presence server which updates "what you're doing" and is essential to parties.



Hope they hurry up !
