Morning all After bit of advice. Currently own the Musical Fidelity v90 DAC having owned it now for best part of 4 years think i want to experiment something little different even though the V90 is a great Desktop DAC. Think i want to try something little more exciting not sure on how much of an upgrade the Modi Multibit would be it has same connections to the V90

Entirely depends on what you are plugging into it.

What's your chain? The Mimby is worth it if you plan on getting a better amp and have high end headphones or you plan to get both in the future. I think if you're going for Mimby at least invest in a Vali 2 amp and look into some headphones that will benefit from the chain like the HD600/HD650.

I plugged a Magni 3 into mine and the combo made a sizeable difference versus a Modi / Magni 2 setup.
