Modifying Vbios

I'm trying to modify the Vbios of my 280x's so that i can increase the power limit. However i get this when i open it in the vbios editor:

What does that mean? Sorry if that sounds dumb at all.

I think there is a switch on the side of the card to change between UEFI and legacy (old) BIOS.

But if i edited the bios then reflashed it to the card would that cause any issues? The only thing i know about UEFI bios' is that some motherboards use them. :D
