hi i have a super flower leddex 750 gold and was wondering if you can use any modular cables with any psu, as my superflower is flooding my case with white light i thought this was ok to start with but not so sure about it now i was wondering if i could buy cables without transparent connector to damp it out

many thanks

That's the biggest thing that stops me considering a Leadex, those damn tacky lights. It wouldn't be so bad if they had a switch so you can turn it off. There was rumours of Superflower doing braided cable kits but nothing has been mentioned for a while but no doubt they would still have the leds. You can't stick any cable in them either so it's up to you to find a solution that you are happy with.

I've been looking at the Superflowers but the only thing putting me off are the cables (or the colours of the connectors at the mobo end)

Saying that it's not the first time I've read that the white light at the PSU is too bright.

Will definitely be interested on hearing how you get on in tackling this.

SF posted pics of custom sleeved kits for these PSUs on their facebook last year, still no sign of them at retail tho :/

I just bought some Bitfenix Alchemy extensions instead of waiting it out.Obviously this isnt too usefull if its the lights that are annoying you tho :/

If you find the lights really annoying you could wrap the LED connectors with black tape?
