does anyone know if its possible to get different leads than the ones that come supplied with modular psu`s?
they`re the rigid flat ribbon type and i wondered if you could round ones to replace them?

I've seen extra leads available on a couple of competitors sites but they are PSU range specific and appear to be the same style as those that already come with the PSU's in question.

Knock...

What psu are you refering too btw?
Ribbon cables from a psu... that sounds odd...

You could just braid them so they look round

the psu is a Corsair HX 1000W
when i say ribbon cable i mean ribbon cableish, ie. flat with each seprate wire side by side. if they were made out of a more supple material i suppose it wouldnt matter so much what shape they were.

You could always use a stanley knife and cut the cable so that the wires are no longer connected together. Then you could heatshrink them or braid them.

yeah, thats a good idea but it would have been nice to be able to buy them off the shelf.

Yellowbeard (Corsair tech support) posts on here, you may find his email addy in his profile or contact him via corsairs site. he may be able to tell you what to do or whats available.
