Modular PSU or not.. Whats the difference.?

Never really looked into PSU's before, just looked at the wattage and make and bought that way which whilst might be slightly blind has done me proud thus far.

Im building a htpc next week and am looking for a good psu some people talk about modular psu's and other dont, is there any real difference.?

Modular simply means you have the option not to connect some cables, this is both neater and better for airflow. The PSUs aren't necessarily better but if neatness is a concern then modular is usually the way to go.

Ahh cool, just like my antecs then, psu has banks for cable looms.
