MOH : AA Crash Problems...

Got the MOG warchest the other day, only just had chance to install it, but every time you try to run it it crashes back to the desktop, you get nothing :(

I'm running XP at the moment, latest radeon x800 drivers. This is driving me mad!
 
I presume its up to date, it is the us/uk version but when i've tried to install the v1.1 patch I get a can't find game error.....(it is installed)

(edit - i've actually tried to fix this issue but the regedit fix won't work!)

An apparent fix from various sources :-

1. open regedit - to do this go to run in the start menu and type in regedit.

2. find the key: h_key/local machine > software > eagames > medal of honour allied assault

3. there should be a sub folder in that key which is named by a set of numbers

4. rename this folder, changing only the last 3 digits to 200(if no folder is present delete the folder and start the game it will generate a new string adjust it.)

Don't know if it works, but there seems to be a muriad of people who have used it.
 
Hmm. I had a problem running it too (it would load up the menu etc, but CTD whenever it actually loaded the first level iirc - was a couple of years ago now though) but the regedit fix worked for me.

Tried running it in safe mode? (I don't hold much hope here!)

Cheers mate it didn't work though :( Why the hell would breakthrough work and not AA?
