I have just finished building my sons pc running on windows xp pro, insatalled all updates ect,and was installing all his games when i came across a problem with "MOH airbourne",i installed the game but just has it was finishing loading the pc crashed, now every time i put the disc in the drive, soon as auto run starts up the pc crashes.
To eliminate the drive i made an iso image of the disc on my pc to try and install from virtual drive, and the same thing happens.
Would the initial install have left bad data on the pc and if so whats the best way to clear it..

I say un-install the game and start from scratch...

As the cd seems to be crashing the system =/ somehow...Just goto control panel / add-remove / then uninstall MOH:Airborne. On top of that, you could un-install the Ageia phys-x software as well. (As long as none of your other games utilise Phys-x...which im guessing no?)

Then just for the hell of it, you could delete all folders relating to MOH, and phys-x as well.

After that, restart and jsut try to re-install again...You could turn off your anti-virus programs as well, just to rule them out perhaps.

Give that a go and see what happens.

Whay does everyone spell AIRBORNE "AIRBOURNE" ? Is it like the old colour\color thing? Airborne is airborne here or in the us...

yes i know keep wanting to put the u in there but anyway borrowed my mates disc and installed the game no probs so it seems that i have a corrupted disc,no scratches or marks and i only installed it once before. So goodness knows what happened to the bloody thing.
