MOHAA and opengl problems

I fixed this once before but Ive forgotten how! When I try to run MOHAA i get this error
GLW_StartOpenGL() - could not load OpenGL subsystem
be grateful for some advice.

This has always occured to me on all video cards when I used winxp/winvista drivers and got fixed by installing the appropriate vid drivers ( works on cards ranging from ati rage 8mb to geforce 6800GS, no idea on higher cards as don't own any ).

do you mean beta drivers?

EDIT: Nvm, OS doesn't make much diff, as I play it in both xp and vista x64.

did you have to fiddle around with opengl files in order to play MOHAA in Vista?

fixed it. downloaded new drivers, ran the game in safe mode and now it works in full mode!. cheers!
