I have just received my new PSU (EVGA 750 g2 fully modular) but it only comes with 1 x 4 molex cable, I'm installing into an Antec 1200 2+1 fan rear and 3 fans front which requires 5 molex conectors, my old PSU (Antec True Power 650w semi modular) came with 3 x 3 molex cables.

Can I use one of the Antec cables on the EVGA PSU with no issues? females look exactly the same but just need some comforting that the cables are safe running from a different PSU.

No!

Modular PSU cables aren't wired the same way by every PSU manufacturer, so you might end up doing more harm then good by using cables from another PSU (Salazar Studio made the same mistake and fried two computers, but in this case you're more then likely to fry the fans).

TBH, I would suggest that you invest in fans that have proper motherboard header connectors and not stupid molex connectors.

If you really need more molex connectors then buy one or two of these. Never use cables from a psu that isn't completely identical or something will most likely go pop. Personally I would buy some decent fans that can be plugged into the motherboard headers or a fan controller. I couldn't put up with fans running at full speed all of the time.

Thank you guys. I shall look into fan controller. In the mean time I'll buy one of those molex cables for now. Spent so much already.
