mom.exe

hi guysa just reinstalled xp home and when i start comp i get a error message saying mom.exe failed to initialize any ideas what this is or means ?

^ not necessarily.... mom.exe is a legit process installed if you have ati drivers with the catalyst control center.

Anyway i searched a bit more and i could either be:
1- Spyware that i first posted
2- Part of the ATI Catalyst software suite as marc said (version 7.2 only i think?)
3- Part of the "3D Map of Moscow" software

was something to do with messenger live i had it saet to come on when windows started changed it so i have to click it to start and messege gone cheers

Huh? I don't even have a mom.exe on my system, let alone a running process? I've got a 1900xt and CCC installed.

Depends what version I just reformatted and installed 7.2 drivers and I now have the mom.exe installed on my pc.
