I've had to change the battery on my car and I don't have the code for my radio (Ford 6000 CD), can anyone help me?

The serial number is M020389.

I know Ford garages can do them for about a tenner, but Im sure there must be a 'free' alternative.

I'd do anything to keep money out of the pockets of main dealers for services like these. They could clearly do it for free but there's no such thing as good customer relations any more.

I don't give out codes to people who randomly sign up and ask for them, then never post again. The tools are out there, find them.

Fair play though. There seems to have been a few randomers about over the past couple of weeks whose posts appear to only contain a single (yet still incomplete) sentence that contributes nothing to the forum.

I honestly don't mind helping someone who's been around for a bit, they don't have to post much or have a million posts however I don't have time for people who just sign up to gain something and then never post again. It sucks.

it wasnt just random ive actually visited the site a few times and checked for comparing serials ive also visited umpteen sites for software but as its for my partners uncle, i wasnt paying out, he is actually taking it somewhere and paying but i just thought i would try saving him the hassle there was no need to be rude, you just assumed i was here for myself after a quick solution, i'm actually only doing exactly what you are doing on here and that is to try and help someone, and for your quote " i'd do anything to keep money out the pocket of main dealers for services like this", well you may need to rethink that. Thanks anyway tho much appreciated either way, i'm sure i'll find something if he has not already sorted it himself.

Rude? Your first ever post on this forum wasn't even a complete sentence and your second is slating a regular member for not helping out some randomer who can't make sense with any of his posts. Seeing as the thread you dragged up is from 5 months ago, are you sure you're a regular visitor and didn't just stumble upon it through Google?
