Right here goes! some of u were away my mondeo ST tdci went bang flywheel, clutch, release bearing needed to the lot! cost me £1150 in total!
now got it back today and need radio code which i cant find any ideas??

and i had my car remapped which was a plug in to the ecu and done that way no chip inserted in engine !
now ive got it back and it seems its running back to standard speed again!?
any ideas ? could this be as the battery has been disconnected or what ? i didnt think it would reset the ecu and would it go back to standard? any ideas

If it was done at the dealer they wuld have wiped any codes and possibly your reflash and changed it back to standard, they may have done this so the warranty on the parts and labour will be valid

im back on standard wheels only had them on for a month! really?? who was that with ?? i culdnt be bothered going round all garages getting prices
oh and the radio code has been reset i dont have it any ideas how to get it going ? have i gotta go to ford ?

Nationwide - I called a local gearbox place who said they'd do it for £650, Nationwide quoted £800ish but price matched and came down to about £630. £600~£700 is about the going rate for a private place and about 1k from a main dealer, any more than that and you've been conned.

I did tell you that last time, although if 600 quid isnt worth a few phone calls.....

Ford should be able to give you the code, although there's normally a card in the manual with it on

Don't know if you've heard this, but keep the revs up and don't let it labour in the higher gears. Whilst the car will pull itself along in 6th gear at 45mph bit you'll murder the drivetrain - keep it above 1700RPM when cruising.

I can get you the radio code if you can get the serial number off the radio - starts with an M then numbers.

The ECU will take a while to adjust the fuelling - give it 50 miles to settle down.

hmm so it could sort itself out ? the reverse sensors aint working to!
i expect to get it back in the way i left it grrR!

most decent mappers will re-apply the remapped software for free if a dealer flashes your ecu back to standard

right update!
got my mate to have a look at it! and they had left the cable for the reverse monitor that goes into the gear box unplugged and the airflow meter was unplugged thats why the turbo wasnt boosting back to normal now!
today going down the motorway and the cv boot popped off! back to the garage again! said want it sorted now they kept it and gave me a car and i got it back later today!
nothing else wrong yet but had some problems already!

I shouldnt find this funny but as he didnt listen in the first place, I do....

Not only did they rip you off, they've done a bodge job of it! I thought you were getting your mates to do it
