Evening all,

I'm looking for a replacement for my Benq FP241VW. I've had it for 3 years and it's been brilliant but I'd like to try a higher resolution. I play mostly fps and noticed input lag when I first bought a Dell 2407 which was terrible. At the moment I'm looking at either Samsung 27b970, Eizo SX2762 or Dell u2711. The Eizo is expensive but it seems to tick all the boxes on the other hand Samsung has great image quality for less. It's difficult to know without being able to compare directly with the Benq I have now.
Any experience or advice greatfully received! Setup will change to two watercooled radeon 7950 to power it.

Grab one of these while they're cheap: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MO-043-AS
I've just upgraded my trusty FP241W to one and I really couldn't be happier with it - the extra real estate and light AG coating combined with decent input lag and the current price are making this a bargain at the moment. Only downsides are PWM controlled backlighting (but if you haven't noticed this on previous monitors you probably won't notice it on this either) and lack of USB ports/card reader (ignore the OcUK descruption - it's wrong). If you can live with that, I reckon it's the best option unless you want to spend closer to £800.

Thanks Louis, hadn't spotted the Asus. Sounds like the ideal solution. Although I'm still being tempted by the 970,esp at this week's price although put off by input lag rumours... Gut feeling says Asus and spend the change towards the pair of 7950s or a new SSD.
Anyone play fps on a 970 who can comment? Thanks
