So I've really been needing to change monitor for a while now. I was looking to get a 144Hz + strobing monitor at the start of the year (gaming + hate blur), but held off because of the 144hz ips monitors on the horizon.
Now at least one has arrived (XB270HU), but it's out of my price range (relistically £500 is max I could go) + seems to have crappy Acer quality control and the other (MG279Q), seems to have no solid release date and I don't think it strobes.
So just wondering if there are others on the horizon (ips 120hz + strobe) or if I should just grab the XL2411Z (what I was looking at in the first place) for now and then revist the the 144hz ips panels in a year or so, when hopefully there will be more choice and less issue and sell on the benq/use as a second monitor.
Anyone else similar postion, what did you decide/do?
