I have recently acquired a new pc and I am looking for some advice regarding purchasing a monitor(s).

PC will have i5 7600k and GTX 1070 8GB.

My physical desk space allows for 2 x 24" monitors or 1 x 27".

I would be grateful if someone could give me some advice on:

1 - Should I run with 2 x 24" or a single 27" screen?

2 - Recommendations of monitors to buy

Budget is around £500. Aiming to play PUBG, Witcher 3, X-com 2 etc.

Thanks

This really depends on your priorities. 2 x 24" would be better for multi-tasking, as you would have more screen space and probably easier to manage multiple windows, whereas a single 27" might have more impact for a gaming experience.

Sorry I should have said in my original post that that machine is mostly for gaming.

Get a Dell S2716DG.

If it's mainly for gaming, you'll get an immersive experience, G-Sync, 1440p and 144hz refresh rate.

I've just bought one and i'm extremely impressed. (I'm running a i5 4690k and a 1070Ti) Can be had for the £550 mark if you shop around.

Edit: I should also add Dell offers excellent customer service and QA.
