Hi,

I dont really know anything about monitors so could you please advise a good upgrade that will be ready for my next PC upgrade from the rig in my spec.

My current monitor is a NEC Multisync 24WMGX3 - 24"
Looking for something 30-32"
I game (COD/Battlefield etc), want to be able to go higher res at my next pc upgrade (4k?)
Current gfx card is MSI 7970 Boosted edition (connected to monitor via DVI)

Can go up to around £500

Thanks

I am thinking of mounting the new monitor on the wall in front of my computer - so I will only be sat around 2-3ft away from it
I have a max gap of just over 1m to fit the monitor into - I am thinking that any larger than 32" would be too much for my eyes to cope with when gaming (or am I wrong)?

Thanks for the info
Is it worth me spending the extra £'s for higher res?
I was looking for a higher res monitor to future proof my gaming more, I am also looking for it to have good connectibility (to work on my current gfx card for now until I upgrade)

I dont have access to the MM unfortunately - even though I have been an active member since 2008 :-(

Will my current gfx card cope ok at the higher res if I turn everything down - until I can upgrade?

Yes I understand that.
I will run at lower res until I can upgrade my gfx card.

Any other monitors that I should consider (cheaper)?

Thanks
