Team,
I have taking the plunge and replacing my trusty 2600k / 980 GTX PC with an 8700k / 1080 ti build. Current monitors are 2 x Dell 27"...one from 2007 and one from 2012.
I am keen to replace the monitors with a single ultra-wide 34" model and would appreciate some advice from people who have a better view of current offerings.
In addition to gaming the monitor will be used for standard office applications. I deal with big, complex spreadsheets, project plans and lots of presentations and schematic diagrams. Crisp (ie non-blurry) text and lines are important to me. Probably 70:30 split productivity:gaming.
I was ready to order Samsung C34F791 and then paused to check that there is nothing better for me out there.
I'm currently on a break between projects so am keen to get this sorted now rather than wait for something coming around the corner.
Is the Samsung C34F791 a good fit? Are there other better offerings for me out there?
Thanks
Greg
