Sorry, yet another "buying advice thread". I am speccing a pc for gaming (with a 4090) and work (software development).
I was reading about OLED monitors and they all have the risk of image burn-in, which is a put off. Or should I not be worried if I take mitigating steps (i.e. use the monitor's features to mitigate this)? These monitors seem to have the best image quality, but I think the Samsung is GSYNC compatible but not GSync Ultimate - is this a dealbreaker?
The other monitors I have found which seem good all rounders are the Acer Predator X38 S and X35. I read the X35 is better in terms of colours, image quality, etc. I'm happy with a single monitor that I can split the screen to use rdp and visual studio.
What would be the right way to go for a budget of 1k or just over?
