Hello ... yet again .
Can you guys recommend me a 22" monitor , and a 2.1 or 5.1 set of speakers + preferably a sound card? ps: , the speakers will be spread out over a long desk with me staying in the middle , i like clarity and good bass.
the monitor will be paired up to the GTX 560.
the budget is around ... £180? this already goes in my parent's budget ( teehee).
as a little sidenote , what do you think about the Razer black widow?
Thanks !
PS: i know , there are separate sections for each of those , but i wanted to give a budget for both of those , not for each of them.

Do you have a PCI slot free? or will a PCI-E card be better?

And whats wrong with the motherboards built in sound chip?

With this budget I would suggest forgetting the sound card and concentrate your funds on the monitor and speakers.

these speakers are a pretty nice, good value and give you 5.1 (plus they are logietch so the warranty is fantastic).

as for the monitor, this monitor is a nice one at £130 (£190 total with the above speakers). if you need it to be on or below £180 then this monitor is a good option (a lot of people on these forums use it for gaming as it has been one of the cheapest 22in 1080p monitors on the ocuk shop for quite some time). if you can push the budget a bit to £200 then this 24in monitor looks good.

as for the black widow keyboard, i'm currently typing on a black widow ultimate and i find it to be fantastic for typing (due to the cherry mx blue mechanical keys). so if you plan to do a lot of typing (uni reports and such) then it is on great keyboard - however for gaming it isn't the best in the world since the mx blue switches are not really suited for this use and the key rollover is not great (you can't press many keys at once and get all the presses registered). so my verdict - if you do a lot of typing, go get it. if you play games a lot more than typing then look elsewhere (i hear the mx black switches are good for gaming - more info here).

Thank you both for the replies ! :)
I found a LED monitor , full HD at ~90 pounds , so that problem is solved.
I also think i'll go for the X-540 , as my brother has them as well and they sound awesome , i just thought there are more possibilities .
I will buy that sound card later on if i will not be pleased with the on board sound card .
And developing to the keyboard , what other keyboard can you reccomend in the budget of ~maximum 70 pounds? That keyboard attracted me in the sense of being a mechanical one , and it would also be the only mechanical keyboard that would slip into my budget . Oh , and i don't really like the other mechanical keyboards because they don't have one single Macro on them . I will do gaming as well as essay writing and school projects and stuff :)
