Hello All

So i have had a Asus PG348q monitor brought for me by a lovely lady in my life :D

sadly, its taken me a month to re-do my whole office (stripped bare and started from scratch)

so today have received my new desk, and put it all together, put the monitor together and found a slight issue.... the pure size of the stand is taking up a lot of the desk, been looking to get a monitor arm with a desk clamp but havent had much luck of anything supporting the weight of the monitor... anyone got one of these monitors on an arm, if so which one?

appreciate all the help

Martin

I use an AllCam GSD110 for my 27" - As tight and solid as the day I unboxed it. Check the weight of the screen, (without stand, obviously), but there should be a model that suits.

A lot of people use the more expensive Ergotron brand arms, including my workplace, but we find they go slack and loose very quickly.

I use a LaVolta one from Amazon on my Dell U2515H. Works a treat and very cheap if you can get it for the right price. But of course, YMMV

Hello All

Thank you for your feedback, had a look at the Ergotron desk mount and the only think that made me uneasy was the info says supports monitors up to 27"

in the end found and decided to go with Fleximounts D7l Heavy Duty Gas Spring monitor arm, fits up to 34" and supports up to 15kg's

I've got the Ergotron MX desk mount arm. Not cheap at around £115 but it's a really solid bit of kit.
They also do a wall mount version.

Reclaims so much desk space that the original stand takes up

The one I found was Dataflex Viewmate monitor arm - desk 662 from the rainforest. Not cheap at the moment due to currency fluctuations but it takes the weight with no issues and has distance adjustment which is great for my racing needs - can easily pull the monitor forwards and have it hovering right over the base of my steering wheel :)

same here, nice mount but not cheap although I picked up a second hand one off flea bay

Duronic would be my recomendation. used them for years got two on my desk at the moment. one for my main 27in (asus PG348qr) and the second has 27in & 24in (above the 27) benq's. Great value in my eyes.

The Ergotron MX I have is more sturdy than the ones I tried from the likes of Duronic but I may just have had bad luck as the ones I had couldn't support the weight of my X34 properly and kept tilting.
