Having had my hopes of buying some monitor arms from OC dashed, as they dont sell them, I was wondering if anyone can suggest where I can get some that are not grossly over priced. Most googled found sites charge silly money for what is just a mass produced stand and some screws.

Nope cus most will be competitors.
You will have to search yourself.
While some might seem over priced, you really don't want to get a cheap one, it will come loose and probably end up not supporting your monitor correctly.
I paid £150 for a dual arm about 4 years ago now, still going strong now.

If OC stocked it in the first place I wouldn't have to go elsewhere.

Personally, I use 3 single mounts, all are made by "Allcam" and are model number "MDM04" google it, they're a lot cheaper than the ergotron mounts, they are less customisable on the fly (bolts have to be loosened to change the height), but if your just wanting it to gain some more desk space, rather than constantly re-arranging your monitors, they're great.
