Monitor Audio Jack [HELP]

Hi, I have a IIyama E2710HDS SPECS HERE and I'm running my PS3 through the HDMI. Everything works fine except I can't seem to get the sound working on my speakers. Instead it uses the built in speakers on the monitor which aren't too bad but I wouldn't mind being able to use my actual speakers instead. There is a green jack on the back and I have my speakers plugged into that via phono. they work fine on my sound card but it seems the monitor just wont use them.

going to try playing around with my monitors settings but I don't believe it has any for the audio apart from the volume control.

So I solved the issue turns out there is a small output over the green one which is not listed on the product specs. It's really hard to see too if it weren't for the picture of it on iiyama's gallery page I wouldn't have known it was there.
