I'm looking for a small upgrade to my current bookshelf speakers ( whichcame with a Fatman valve amp some years ago). I'm going to use them in my work office so need a replacement for home office. Only really what to spend around £100 or so.

Source is PC to an Audioengine D1 DAC to an Audioengine N22 AMP.

Cheers

I'd say so, but there are other good alternatives, like Wharfedale 9.1 and Q Acoustics 2020i. All are good choices for £100, so comes down to preference really.

Yeah, I saw those. Must admit, not really been following Wharfedale's speakers once they discontinued the Diamond 10 series to whatever came afterwards; although I did see that the previous range to the current 200 had some complaints about poor cabinet finishing.

Yea that would be the early releases of the 121. The 220 similar to the 121, but addressed the finishing issue as well as made improvement on it.
