Monitor Auto-Standby - A Pain

Hey people,

I have a Samsung Syncmaster 930BF. When I watch videos on this it sometimes switches to standby after a while like it is not receiving a picture. I have to go to the mouse and move it to resume playback. When watching films in bed this can be a real pain in the behind. I'm sure there must be a simple way around it but I don't know how, so can somebody assist me please?

Check timing on screensaver and adjust.

what software u using m8 (2 watch the movies)? cos most should stop the monitor from going into stand-by mode.

Thx for repsonses guys. It wasn't the screensaver but very close. I hadn't altered my power settings so it was switching itself off via the Windows setting.
