Hi Guys,
My friend has a strange problem with their Asus 22" VH226H Monitor,
if they have to move it even to just adjust the angle, it blows the 5amp fuse in the plug.... I have checked to see if the lead is loose, as I have the same type of monitor, but all seems fine, the lead has plenty of cable so it not pulling on the cord.... changed the lead twice now to a different one, works fine with mine.... but no other... any ideas?

thanks.

If you've eliminated the leads then it's got to be the monitor.

The first place I'd look is where the lead is connected. Check it for movement. I suppose it could be a loose connection between the monitor's internal gubbins and the kettle connector panel. If the montitor is moved it may break the connection enough that the fuse blows I suppose.

Probably not something you'd want to be fiddling with if this monitor is under warranty.
