I have a 17" CRT Hyundai monitor, turned it on this morning and its giving of an "electrical buzz" and there are "wrinkles" on the monitor shaking from side to side. Any ideas what the problem is?

my old monitor did that. was the power plug going into the monitor! had to wiggle it about till it was ok. although most of them are wired straight in now .....

Heh, I was going to get a widescreen LCD with my next PC upgrade might have to come early though... one question I have if I got a 22" widescreen and I played on resolutions like 1024x7whatever it is will it stretch the screen and make it look wierd or just have a black outline where it isnt show? I don't think my current PC would be able to do the high resolutions.

Yes, but definately not by you. It's time to jump on the LCD bandwagon.
Not for me - not for a while yet.. My 19" CRT is just perfect... buky and not WS but the image quality is better than any LCD i've seen. Playing games at 1920 x1440 is lovely.

I did buy the Samsung 226.. switched on.. yuk.. yuk yuk.. fortunatly the PSU on the TFT failed a day later and it went back. The only LCD i've seen that i'm interested in is the 24" Dell A04 which has 1:1 PM. I still feel that LCD techology has a long way to go.

I used to love my 19" CRT but i cant ever say ive seen a CRT that looks anywhere near as good as my TFT ? Id never go back.

Turns out the monitor is under warranty still, does anyone know a contact email for Hyundai? Can't find one anywhere.
