Hi all,

So it's a bit of a problem...

Working fine last night.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Yeah what connection if your using hdmi have you anything else like a console or DVD player you can try?
Regards

Strange one, I took it upstairs to try on my TV and then soon realised there is no HDMI out, which I thought there was.

However, turned it on and the screen is now fine.

Strange?

Could simply be the cable not being plugged in quite right which you fixed by unplugging/plugging everything again. That's the first thing I would do if a reboot didn't fix it.

Reboot, replug, try a different cable (and/or connection), try a different device. Some troubleshooting doesn't have to cost anything :)

Okay, so the issue is now happening more frequently. However I can just about get to the settings in the control panel and, by simply changing the display but making the text larger it temporarily fixes it (and will stay fixed until I turn the computer off and then on again).

Which leads me to think it may be an intermittent software problem. I've updated the drivers for the graphics card which hasn't helped.

Any idea?
