I have aquired the use of a monitor calibration tool for a couple of days and was looking to calibrate my AW3420DW.

Reading around im getting conflicting ways as to best calibrate the monitor.
Some day do in a dark room with no light, Others say whatever the normal light is etc.

I just went through it with displaycal and set gamma to 2.2 as most people suggest but when I run the report at the end it shows as 2.6

Can anyone give me there process for calibration?

Honestly, read the manual, it should tell you 'best practice' for that device as they do vary.

My spyder for example likes there to be natural light and tells me if it's too dark... but I've seen others that prefer darkness. You'll also have instructions on how to set your monitor via it's controls as well.
