Hello All,

Within the next few weeks i'm going to purchase the bits to build my own PC. I've never built a PC from the start but have over the years changed graphic cards etc in previous PC

My current buy list at the moment is

Intel Core 2 DUO LGA775 E6600 2.40GHz Retail /
Asus P5B Deluxe /
2GB GeIL PC2-6400C4 DDR2 Dual Channel Kit - Bundle
Tuniq Tower 120 CPU Cooler
Seasonic S12 Energy+ 650W Silent ATX2.0 Power Supply
Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 320GB ST3320620AS SATA-II 16MB Cache - OEM
EVGA GeForce 8800 GTS SuperClocked 320MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI
Total : £879.93

I'm have trouble in selecting a case, i'm looking for a case that will comfortable fit the hardware above and the gives good ventilation but is also quiet. The one that caught my attention from the reviews was the Coolermaster Mystique 632 Black. Any idea would be great :)

Now for monitors, i don't know where to go for two 19" or a single 22". If i go for two monitors when i'm gaming does the secon monitor go blank or it the desktop still visable??

The computer will be used for MS Office (loads of Excel), Internet, Photo editing and gaming (hopefully more than Excel but this thing called work is a bugger to getting in the way)

I still need to decide if I go for XP Pro or Vista Home Preimum

Please feel free to pick holes in my selection and any other recommendation

Look forward to you comments

Thanks for reading

C

Lian LI PC7+/Akasa Eclipse for a case, I'd choose a corsair PSU too (620W), a 22" monitor and vista premium.

The Lian Li Pc7 case would be suitable for your needs, and isn't very expensive.

I'm using an Antec P180 and I can't fault it, but it's certainly more expensive than the Lian-Li's.
