Hi guys,

Any help with choosing a monitor will be appreciated. Looking for around 21.5 inch, full HD 1080p.

I am looking to play Battlefield 3 on ultra, and move onto Battlefield 4 when that comes out, and obviously the more FPS the better.

My rig specs -

- i5 3570K 3.4Ghz
- Corsair TX650 V2 650W
- 8GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600Mhz
- Corsair H60
- Asus Sabertooth Z77
- Nvidia GeForce GTX 670 2GB
- Windows 8

I was looking at the http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MO-044-AS

I quite like Asus but I am open to opinions.

I hope to run at over 60fps, so is it worth me going for a 120hz monitor, or will a 60hz really be sufficient? and furthermore is it worth getting an IPS monitor and losing out on ms? or again, is ms not hugely imperative?

Thanks for looking and helping.

For your needs, you want a 120hz panel. IPS is mainly for colour critical work, not the best choice for gaming. IMO.

Whats your budget?

Great, thanks for the reply. I really like that one. I was concerned as to if I should go for a 60hz or 120hz, as this caps fps, but that said I wasn't sure what fps I'll achieve on my rig. I was hoping for a steady 60+

I play BF3 on low with mesh quality on ultra using an injector for the AA/colours...my fps is nearly always 100-120 unless there's some hectic amount of explosions/destruction going on.The motion is incredible, it seems i can spot people easier due to the fluidity of the soldiers and also my aiming has vastly improved due to it.

If i had a 2nd 680 i probably would play it on ultra always which i plan to get once i got my haswell parts.I can't stand 60hz myself now, 120hz has been beneficial on many games for me.That monitor can do 144hz too by the way. :D

Yeah, I was just checking some reviews. I've not have a monitor that large before so I hope the UI/gun size doesn't take over the screen if you know what I mean!

Will get it ordered up shortly :)
