Monitor choice for this spec system

Hi All,
Well finally decided on my system, order going in in next few minutes.

What I nee now is monitor advice.

I would like a 27" and 2560 x 1440 seems to be the latest craze, But wil my spec be powerful enough for Gaming .

Spec is

i7 4770k @4.4
2 x 7950 ice q boost 3gb xfire
8 gb 2133 ram
Corsair 850 enthusiast bronze plus 80 psu
120 ssd
1tb hb
Shinobi xl case
Windows 8 64bit

Going 2 x 7950 gpu because I already have one

My budget is really straining a around £350 having blown the bank on the PC

Dilemma is do I go with 27" at 1440 or 1080, Im confused.

I would love to go with something like a Ilyam as they seem to get greta reviews, and am not sue about the likes of DGM as they have very mixed reviews.

But want to get on with buying so I have it when my new PC arrives.

More help from you guys would be great, I have had so much from you already and really appreciate your time.

sorry to be a pain, but i really need to decide on a monitor as my new system will be here ssom as below

My ideal budget is around £350. If i go for 2560 x 1440 would my setup be man enough to run current games at a high res?
Or would I be better to buy a 27" 1080 quality monitor, I am sooooo confused i really could do with som quality advice, lease help
BTW I apologise in advance as I have consumed copious amounts of alcohol so my spelling could be suspek

Personal choice only, but I wouldn't get a 27" 1080 screen, stick to 24" if going 1080.
