Looking for a new monitor, £140 ish.
General internet surfing plus games BF3, COD etc
Also is it worth having a monitor with an HDMI input, I ask as my graphics card has an HDMI output?
Which one of these please and why?

Not an expert in any way, so opinion only based on own thoughts. I have happily been using a BenQ 24" G2420HDBL (i think there is a replacement model for ths). It cost around £130 and is fine. I ask about Frames per Second as that directly relates the Hz refresh of the monitor. So if you plan to get quite high frame rates (FPS) you might want to choose a monitor accordingly. My monitor runs to 60Hz, meaning a cap of 60fps since upgrading my PC is a pain as even when using Vsync to cap the in game FPS i get screen tearing (messy ripped display).

With that card it might be likely you will be under 60fps in most new games hence a 60hz monitor might be fine. You can either search reviews on the o/c site or a real expert i am sure will help.

Not sure if that helps.
