Hi, I am just choosing a monitor to go with a build i have chosen parts for.

I have a few monitors that seem great but I can't decide which would be the best:
Dell S2309W 23" @ £170

Dell G2410 24" LED @ @ £237

Dell S2409W 24" @ £200

I am really curious about getting onto the LED bandwagon, would that be worth the £40 more? Seeing as a monitor will last a good 4 years and the energy savings would over compensate. I couldnt find many reviews with a focus on image quality and responsiveness in gaming - they all babbled on about the energy use. However I suspect that the G2410 will be superior in all ways to the other 2 models - would that be right?

Unless display is otherwise measured to be as good it isn't worth of anything.
It's just change of backlight and does nothing to limited contrast and speed of liquid crystals and TN's bad viewing angle. (or design of LCD itself wasting energy)

The Samsung T220 had a good write up, particularly if your looking for something cheap and good performance. Good Colours for movies and very good response for games, nice design but doesn't score highly in the ergonomics department. If this doesn't bother you then i would go for this.

I would buy this in a heartbeat but i can't make my mind up yet between 22" or a 24". the price alone is a steal!

Take a look yourself :)
