Monitor choices!

Hi folks,

A little help if you wouldn't mind, i am not too clued up on monitors but im looking at buying a new 24inch pc monitor to replace the 22inch cheapo hdtv/dvd player combo thing i am using at the moment. Its ok i guess but i feel like i could have a lot better for not that much money! i'd say im willing to spend £140-170.

I mainly play games on my pc and the odd bit of tv/films online, web browsing etc ( the norm i am sure ) would like it to have an HDMI port and also a bit of style lol. ( the thing im using now is a hideous beast )

Much appreciate your input/advise.

I should add i'm not really bothered about it being 3D, speakers would be a bonus but not a must have.

I recently bought the iiyama prolite b2475 and I've been suitably impressed so far. It's the same as the E2475 but it comes with an adjustable stand which I needed for my desk.
