Ok so ive tried many of these products that claim to be "monitor cleaner" however they all seem to leave marks and do not clean properly

what do you guys use to clean your LCD displays??

even tried isopropyl alcohol but apparently thats a big no-no

Can't wait for the cringes in response to this but I use water with a few drops of white spirit in it and a glasses cleaning cloth! :)

Definite cringe for that, i wouldnt dare use white spirit on a monitor! lol

anyway i guess i will buy some more wipes and try them in bunches like sreeve said, trouble i have with them though is like i said they dry up so if you buy a tub of 100 you only use 20-30 because the rest dried out

i tried tap water too but because it contains chlorine its not very good for the screen and could potentially take the layer of anti-glare off - if just using water then i would recommend distilled water to avoid the damage..

tried searching for this "Muck off" but all i can find is stuff for bikes..
any chance of a link to where i can get some?

They do a lot of bike and car stuff as well. The bay will get you there if you search "muc off screen cleaner" ;)

ah yes i have found it now, i was specifically looking for "muck off" which is why i didnt find anything haha

ordered the kit that comes with a cloth too - thanks gregg
