Hello,

Now i have a decent monitor, i'm wondering what the best way is to clean it ?

On my old ones i'd just use some polish and a cloth. Would that be fine ?

Monitor is a

Gigabyte Aorus FI27Q

Thanks

Damp microfibre cloth or paper towel, wipe in a circular motion without much pressure. Repeat with a dry microfibre cloth or paper towel.

Don't use polish on it. Paper towel will be too abrasive and easy to hold contamination against the screen causing light scratches. Same as don't use a sponge to wash your car as you'll get swirl marks. Something soft like micro-fibre is good and a dedicated screen cleaner which will evaporate more easily leaving less drying marks.

Don't touch your screen and there should only ever be 'spittle' on it which is easier to clean instead of grease from fingers.

Somebody recommended Whoosh! screen cleaner on another forum I frequent. I've not heard of it or used it.

Ecomoist is what I use. Not chemical based, so safe to use on any type of coated screen

I use floor wipes from somewhere like Aldi. The one's with no bleach, obviously. They are large and can usually get both my monitors and my tv done with one cloth. Been using these for ages and always get a great finish after drying off with a lint free cloth.
